War Goddess is a campy action flick about a tribe of women who who have sworn off men. In a heated battle royal to annoint the new leader of a tribe of Amazon women, Antiope (Alena Johnston) defeats Oreitheia (Sabine Sun), and is crowned queen. Much to Antiope's dismay, then women head off to their "humiliating" annual mating session with a group of buff Greek soldiers, merely as a means to continue their race of women. The newly crowned queen catches the eye of Greek king Theseus (Angelo Infanti), who disguises himself as a simple army Captain in order to have sex with Antiope, who surprisingly enjoys it. Contradicting both her own inner convictions and the tradition of the man-hating tribe, Antiope struggles with her new found feelings for the king, while at the same time staving off a coup by Oreitheia. Terence Young directs this low budget romp, loaded with nudity, sex, and chicks that can use swords really really well.moreless
