Water's Edge centers around aspiring fiction writer, Robert Graves (Nathan Fillion), and his wife Molly (Chandra West) who are determined to leave the chaos of urban life by moving to Robert's quiet home town. Robert and Molly have known suffering in their past, and they eagerly look to start a new chapter of their lives free of what has plagued them for so long. Taking up residence in Robert's deceased father's wilderness cabin seems to provide exactly the kind of life the frayed couple is looking for- but not for long. When Robert prevents a bizarre act of violence from turning fatal, he unknowingly sets in motion a series of events that will make the idyllic wilderness a living nightmare for the young couple. They soon learn that not even the town sheriff can be trusted. With no one to rely on but each other, Robert and Molly will be tested in a way they never could have imagined.
