Sal (Farina) and Charlie (Rossi) usually have the best intentions, but all too often wind up on the losing side. They're latest stab at wealth required they borrow ten grand from the mafia. When they lose the money to an awful scam, they head to Los Angeles hoping to escape the Mafia's wrath and find a way to settle the score without losing their lives. Once in LA, they stumble into a new get-rich-quick scheme, this time blackmailing some Senators caught on tape in a scandalous situation. As the Mafia and the FBI try to hunt down the two troublemakers, Sal and Charlie do everything they can to survive the mess they've made for themselves.
