Westward Ho is a classic Western tale about a man who is in search of his long lost brother. John Wyatt (Bradley Metcalfe-John as a child) was just a boy when his family fell apart. John, his younger brother Jim (Dickie Jones-Jim as a child) and his parents were traveling on the Wyatt Company wagon train when Ballard's trail jumpers attacked his family. His parents got killed while his younger brother got kidnapped. Years go by and John (John Wayne) is now a man. Desperate to find his brother, he puts together a posse called the Singing Riders who go out in uniform, singing and fighting crime and gangs while riding the trails. He and his team fight crimes left and right and finally come across a pack of gang members that are ready to fight John and his crew. He later discovers that the leader of that gang is his younger brother Jim (Frank McGlynn Jr.).
