Wet Hot American Summer is a delightfully silly movie set in the fictional Camp Firewood. In several tales of danger, love, sex and more, the campers try to survive the ending days of camp, all while trying to find their one special someone to share a kiss with at the end of the talent show. Beth (Janeane Garofalo), the camp director, manages the problems of the other counselors while falling in love with the brilliant Henry (David Hyde Pierce), an astrophysics professor who, himself, is attempting to save the camp from certain doom, as a piece of NASA's SkyLab falls toward it. While love and lust distracts the other counselors - sometimes at the cost of the safety of their campers and fellow counselors - Susie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Bradley Cooper) attempt to plan the greatest talent show Camp Firewood has ever seen. All for this, just for that one final kiss.
