When Nature Calls is the comedic tale of construction worker Greg (David Orange) as he throws in the towel on city life and moves his family to the wilderness. Wife, Barb (Barbar Marineau), son Little Billy (Nicky Beim) and daughter Bambi (Tina Marie Staiano) are unprepared for the challenges of living in the great outdoors. Charles Kaufman directs the 1985 comedy for Troma Entertainment, that follows the tradition of spoof movies such as Airplane, The Naked Gun and Kentucky Fried Movie. The film is staged as a feature film with promos for non-existent films, including Baby Bullets, Raging Bullshit and a film for blind people. It uses every film clich'' from dialogue to sets to camera work and results in outrageous, sometimes vulgar, humor with visual gags, non sequiturs, and a stop-motion montage of food products. Cameo appearances include G. Gordon Liddy, Myron Cohen, John Cameron Swayze, G. Gordon Liddy and Willie Mays.
