When Will I Be Loved is a 2004 film that features Neve Campbell as a femme fatale with a mind of her own, set on manipulating those around her to get what she wants. Vera (Campbell) is a young New York City girl exploring her sexuality by inviting random men back to her apartment to sleep with them. Vera videotapes a sexual encounter between her and female lover to better understand her own sexuality. When her boyfriend Ford (Frederick Weller) attempts to pimp out Vera to wealthy Italian media mogul Count Tommaso (Dominc Chianese), he underestimates Vera's ingenuity. Tommaso offers $100,000 for the chance to sleep with Vera, and when she agrees, he believes that he is going to get exactly what he wants. Vera dislikes having two men make decisions for her and decides to scheme against them. Also starring Ashley Shelton, James Toback, Oliver Grant, and Mike Tyson, When Will I Be Loved was written and directed by James Toback.moreless
