Where's Marlowe? is a 1998 American mystery comedy directed by Daniel Pyne and starring Miguel Ferrer, John Livingston, and Mos Def. The film tells the story of a two-man filmmaking team that decides to make a documentary about private investigators in the office of "Boone and Murphy." As they documentary cheating husbands and missing dogs, they find that their film isn't going to be quite entertaining enough. Murphy then sleeps with the wife of one of his clients and decides to leave the business. In order to finish the movie, the filmmakers then take a more hands-on approach to helping solve some of the more exciting investigations.
