Whirlygirl is a 2006 drama film that focuses on Whirlygirl (Monet Mazur), an exotic dancer that performs primarily at all-male schools. Raoul (J.A.Q.) is a student at a school that requests Whirlygirl to perform at a party he is throwing with his friend, James Edwards (Julian Morris). The party goes well and the friends of Raoul and James praise them for it. At this time, James realizes his watch is missing and immediately suspects Whirlygirl of stealing it. He tracks her down to her apartment, where he discovers she does indeed have his watch. James and Whirlygirl begin to talk and they make a connection. As the two spend more time together, Whirlygirl encourages James to take more risks, including skipping school and partying. James tries to get Whirlygirl to change her lifestyle and follow her dreams of becoming a real dancer. Because these two are so different, it is a struggle to make their relationship work.
