Whispering Corridors 2: Memento Mori is a 1999 horror film that blends themes of romance, obsession, and the supernatural. The plot centers on Hyo-shin (Yeh-jin Park) and Shi-eun (Young-jin Lee), two young students at an all-female school. The girls embark on a clandestine love affair, growing increasingly more devoted to one another as they struggle to hide their feelings from the disapproving eyes of their classmates and society at large. A naive classmate, Min-ah (Min-sun Kim), finds a diary that reveals intimate secrets about the girls' secretive relationship. As damaging gossip and rumors start to build, Shi-eun begins to pull away from the relationship. Soon after their relationship crumbles, Hyo-shin dies in an apparent suicide.
