White Coats is a comedy from 2004 directed by Dave Thomas. St. Albert's Hospital is almost in ruins. Much of the staff has deserted their posts, and the hospital is in dire financial ruin. Hospital administrator, Dr. Cyrill Kip (Dan Akroyd), has to come up with some sort of solution to keep the hospital from completely folding. He takes a group of three-year interns who should have been doctors by now, and does the unthinkable. He gives them all promotions and requires them to become doctors to keep the hospital running. The Chief in Charge of Training, Dr. Omar Nelson (Dave Thomas), has to attempt to get the doctors up to snuff as regular working doctors to attend to the hospital's patients. The interns take over and in between their rambunctious parties, administering sexual favors, and their horrible medical blunders and antics, the interns hilariously attend to business around the hospital in their out of control way.
