White Dog is a drama film that centers on an actress named Julie (Kristy McNichol). One night, she accidentally runs over a dog and immediately takes him to a veterinarian. The dog is released and while looking for his owners, Julie decides to let the dog stay with her, against the wishes of her boyfriend, Roland (Jameson Parker). When a rapist tries to break into her house and the dog protects her, Julie decides to keep the dog. What she does not know is that the dog was previously owned by a white racist who trained the dog to attack black people. Julie begins to realize something is wrong with the dog when he begins randomly attacking black people. Not knowing what else to do, she takes the dog to a trainer, Keys (Paul Winfield), who happens to be black. Keys keeps the dog inside of an enclosure, while studying its behavior. To find out if Keys can solve the dog's problems and fix them, watch White Dog.moreless
