White Huntress, also known as Golden Ivory is a 1954 adventure film directed by George Breakston. Two brothers, Paul Dobson (John Bentley) and Jim Dobson (Robert Uraquay), get word of a great treasure from the mouth of a dying treasure hunter. They learn the location of an old elephant graveyard that holds a fortune in elephant tusks in East Africa. On their way to the African prairie, they meet a group of English settlers who hope to settle in the area and make friends with the natives. The settlers hire the two down and out brothers to guide them but Jim and Paul lead the group astray to a dangerous area filled with wild animals, killer snakes and blood thirsty natives in order to find their treasure as well as get the pay-off from the settlers. The two men end up trying to win the affections of the same woman, Ruth Meehan (Susan Stephen), while trying to outwit the dangers of Africa and find the mysterious elephant graveyard.moreless
