White Mane is a French drama that was released in 1953. The movie features the story of a man (Pierre Bestieux) who is struggling to tame his herd of wild horses. Living in Camargue, in the south of France, he only knows one life and must find a way to tame this herd or risk losing his reputation among those around him. The situation seems helpless, as these horses are too proud to be tamed by humans and do not seem to listen to anything the man says. By chance, a young fisherman by the name of Folco (Alain Emery) happens by the area and stops to admire the horses. He seems to form an instant bond with them, as they see that he is different from the other humans. The horses trust his honesty and his lack of ulterior motive. Will Folco maintain his great relationship with the horses, or will they come to realize that he is just working for the others and is no different?moreless
