The two make a life together only for Elizabeth to discover that Frankie has an addiction problem. She soon becomes a prostitute in order to cover the costs for his recovery. Elizabeth soon discovers that Frankie has been seeing Zola on the side. The film fast forwards to Frankie's life a few years later. He meets a schoolteacher named Emira Eagle (Lela Richon) and they get married. Shortly after, Frankie dies of an overdose and the three women are seen in court fighting over who gets his estate.
