Rating:

Wild Things is the 1998 star-filled racy crime-thriller now available on Crackle.com. This sexy and stylish story is about an attractive high school teacher (Matt Dillon) who is framed for raping one of his students (Denise Richards) and dealing with his ruined reputation. Yet, as the story unravels, things prove to be far from what they seem, and it's not so clear who holds all the strings and who is just a puppet in what turns out to be an ever twisting extortion plot. Neve Campbell gives a striking performance as a girl from the wrong side of the tracks.Bill Murray notably plays her shady lawyer, and Kevin Bacon as the cop set on finding the truth; at least the one most convenient for himself. The film inspired two sequels that went straight to DVD, had a less known cast and focused on emulating the sex appeal of the first film.
