Wild West is an original comedic tale about a group Pakistani brothers who start up a country and western band in London. Southall, a bustling suburb of London, England, is one of the last places in the world you would expect to find a country band, especially one with all Pakistanis. But that's exactly what you get with the Honky Tonk Cowboys, a country and western singing group formed by Zaf (Naveen Andrews) and his two brothers, Kay (Ronny Jhutti), and Ali (Ravi Kapoor). But when the three cowboy crooners find that their music does not sit well with the crowd in the west London ghetto, they add beautiful singer Rifat (Sarita Choudhury) to add a little flavor to their act. The band soon garners interest from record labels, or rather Rifat does, and she leaves the Cowboys to be a star. On their own again, but not ready to give up, Zaf convinces the band to pack up and head for Nashville, leaving it all on the line. David Attwood directs this unique film that will continue to surprise you.moreless
