With Honors is a 1994 dramatic comedy directed by Alek Keshishian. In the film, Montgomery "Monty" Kessler (Brendan Fraser) is an honor student at Harvard University who is working on his thesis. He lives with, art student Courtney Blumenthal (Moria Kelly), spoiled rich kid Everett (Patrick Dempsey), and pre-med student Jeff Hawkes (Josh Hamilton). The students get along very well and support each other a great deal. One night while working on his thesis, Monty's computer crashes and his thesis is gone, but he still has a paper copy of the thesis. Overwhelmed with anxiety, Monty heads out with Courtney to make copies of his paper. Unfortunately for Monty, he manages to lose his paper. Looking for remnants of the paper, Monty meets a homeless man, Simon (Joe Pesci), and is frustrated with the man for his lack of concern over Monty's missing paper. Will Monty find his missing paper, or will he be forced to write a new one?
