Mike Jessop (Hywel Bennett) is a competing reporter staying in the same hotel. Don is excited when he is able to interview Yassin Abu-Riadd (Amos Lavi), who is the Palestinian Liberation Organization leader. After he interviews the man, Don discovers that he has only pretended to be Yassin. Don feels righteous indignation and wants to protect his reputation as a reporter. He decides to investigate the truth behind this deception so that he can give the world the real story. A woman named Linda Larsen (Marita Marschall), who has in-depth information about Yassin, soon comes to his aid. With his pen and paper in hand, Don becomes an unlikely war hero.
