Wooly Boys is a 2001 comedy, largely set in the Badlands of North Dakota. After being tricked into going to Minneapolis, Stoney (Peter Fonda), a sheep rancher, finds himself stuck in the hospital against his will. While his grandson Charles (Joseph Mazzello) is visiting, Stoney's friend Shuck (Kris Kristofferson) comes to rescue Stoney from the hospital. Charles leaves the hospital with the old men and they steal a hearse and force the driver to take them to North Dakota. Once they get there Stoney begins the task of turning city-boy, computer hacker, Charles into a Wooly Boy. Believing that Charles has been kidnapped the FBI is called in to catch Stoney and Shuck. When Stoney becomes worse Charles and Shuck make it their top priority to get him to Hidden Springs where he wants to die and be buried. They have to rush against time, and the FBI, to get Stoney to his final resting place.
