Movie Summary

Oliver Stone (I)

World Trade Center is a drama film that follows the journey of two men trying to survive during the events of September 11, 2011. John McLoughlin (Nicholas Cage) and Will Jimeno (Michael Pena) are two Port Authority officers patrolling a Bus Station in Manhattan, New York when they spot a plane flying dangerously low. They glimpse at a television and find out a plane has hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Sergeant McLoughlin gathers his group and heads to the site to help evacuate people from the South Tower. On their way there, the group learns the South Tower has been hit. They finally arrive to the site and as they attempt to enter the North Tower, the South Tower begins to collapse. Realizing the building is going to collapse, McLoughlin orders his men to run into an elevator shaft but not all of the group of Port Authority officers are able to make it. Watch World Trade Center to find out which Port Authority officers (if any) make it out alive.
