Wrangler is a 1988 western directed by Ian Barry. Set in Australia, the story is about a rich rancher that trades horses and a neighboring corrupt rancher, Jack Donaghue (Steven Vidler), who wants to control the frontier. When the rich rancher dies, his daughter, Alice May Richards (Tushka Bergan), is left on her own to fight to hold on to the family ranch. Ben Creed (Jeff Fahey) is a United States business person who meets the stunning Alice and falls for her immediately. He helps to defend the land and wins Alice's affection, finding himself caught in a love triangle. Alice has her work cut out for her, and the only chance of saving her home depends on convincing her battling admirers to put aside their differences and work together. If she can convince them to join forces for a last horse drive and bring the herd home, she can save her homeland.
