Wrongfully Accused is a 1998 action comedy film directed by Pat Proft. Ryan Harrison (Leslie Nielson) is a world-famous violinist. Following one of his concerts he attends a party where he meets Hibbing Goodhue (Michael York) one of his sponsors, and Goodhue's gorgeous and seductive wife, Lauren (Kelly LeBrock). The next evening Harrison finds a mysterious note from Lauren asking him to meet her at the Goodhue's mansion. When Harrison arrives at the mansion he bumps into a man, who he learns has just killed Hibbing Goodhue. A fight follows during which Harrison discovers that the man is missing an eye, an arm and a leg, then Harrison is knocked unconscious. The next morning he wakes up in a jail cell, he is charged with the murder of Goodhue, and sentenced to death. Desperate to find the real killer and prove his innocence, Harrison escapes from jail and stumbles from one hilarious incident to the next.
