Created by Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff, WCW Monday Nitro aired on the TNT network from 1995 to 2001, and for six years competed directly, head-to-head, with WWE's Monday Night Raw program. Some of the matches in WWE: The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro include Sting vs Macho Man Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio vs Dean Malenko, Brian Pillman vs Jushin Thunder Liger, Syxx vs Rey Mysterio, Bret Hart vs DDP, Hogan vs Goldberg and the debuts of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
