X-Treme Fighter is a 2004 science-fiction action thriller about Don Wilson (Jack Tanaka), a father who will do anything he can to save his son. Don's father, James (Aki Aleong), is a professor of computer science, always hard at work on new inventions. His latest brainstorm is one of his best yet: an immersive virtual reality world, complete with hyper-realistic fighting action. James invites Don and his surly teenage son, Brad (Dan Mayid), to play the game. Don has trouble getting along with Brad lately, so James hopes he can heal the father-son relationship through gaming. While Brad is testing the virtual reality world, however, something unexpected happens. A computer virus invades the program. James realizes that the virus will not only shut down his virtual world, but also prove fatal to Brad in the real world. When he realizes what has happened, Don has to enter the virtual world to fight for his son's life and defeat the computer virus.moreless
