YPF, released in 2007, is an official Toronto International Film Festival selection directed by Martin Gero. The quirky comedy follows five couples that each have their own, separate sexual interactions on a Tuesday evening. Eric (Josh Cooke) and Mia (Sonja Bennett) are a recently broken-up couple that have doubts whether they are over each other, and would like to explore the question further. Gord (Ennis Esmer) and Inez (Natalie Lininska) want to have a threesome for the first time, and have fun doing it. Kris (Carly Pope) and Matt (Aaron Abrams) are longtime friends that want to have a one-night stand to dispel the tension that has built up between them for years. Andrew (Josh Dean) and Abby (Kristin Booth), want to have a playful experience, but find their marriage taking a toll on their sex life. Ken (Callum Blue) and Jaime (Diora Baird) face a series of fast-paced moments on their first date. This film explores both disappointment and adventure in relationship, along with risk of following your heart.moreless
