Zorro's Fighting Legion is a 1939 classic following the hero of legend, Zorro (Reed Hadley), a sequel to The Mark of Zorro. Zorro squares off against his arch nemesis, the mysterious Don Del Oro (Billy Bletcher), who is out to pillage the gold trade in Mexico. Del Oro gathers around him the Yaqui Indians who carry on his warfare for him while keeping his identity secret. Various informants come forward to expose him, but just as they utter the word "Don Del Oro is..." they are struck with a golden arrow and killed. Don Francisco (Guy D'Ennery) is a simple laborer who is given the task of protecting the gold from the Yaqui, so he calls together a legion of soldiers. Unfortunately they are outnumbered and outmatched. The belabored Don Francisco asks Zorro to come to his rescue. Over the course of a twelve chapter story, Zorro and his faithful steed Tornado chase, battle, and sword fight their way to a safe and dignified Mexico.
