Mr. Personality is a reality-dating show from Bruce Nash, the creator of Meet My Folks and Who Wants To Marry My Dad?

An average, twentysomething woman, Hayley, meets twenty eligible bachelors and must make her decision based entirely on their personality. Because all twenty men are forced to wear masks, and Hayley won't get to see her mate's face until she makes her final decision.

The only way our leading lady will get a chance to see her suitor's faces will be in what the producers call "the dark room." Here, Hayley will be able to remove the mask and feel the man's face.

Note: As for the surnames of the rejected bachelors, I am merely guessing and most likely have made a mistake. If you know of the correct spelling, please tell me so that I may correct it.



Ratings Info

This show was not the ratings train-wreck it was made out to be. In its first (and only) season, Mr. Personality was the 74th most-watched program in America (tied with 20/20, 48 Hours Investigates, and Are You Hot?). It had an average of 8.9 million viewers. The show fared better with the coveted 18-49 demo, where it was the 38th most popular show. Why this show lasted so short is beyond me, seeing as that season, it more popular than 14 other Fox shows.less «

  My friend Riley was one of the producers, I can't blame him for this drivel. I still like Riley!!
  
  Hey he went from this show on to producing MUCH better reality series, so this wad good first step. Now who's idea was it to cast Monica Lewinsky? Ouch.
