But when the shot reverses to behind Earl, the field is still on the left and the fence is still on the right when they should now be reversed. edit »
- When they ran out of gas on their way to see Too Tall Maggie, Earl leaves the car and walks to the assumed address. When he has to walk the other direction, he passes the car again and the cloud formation at the sky is the same when he left, although it should have considerably changed regarding the time it took him to walk all the way back and forth. edit »
- In episode "Barn Burner", list item #1 is introduced as "Took donuts from a bank where I was not a customer"; in this episode it's changed to "Stole ten dollars from a guy at the Camden Market". edit »
- List Trivia:
Introduced and crossed off in this episode
#1 Stole ten dollars from a guy at the Camden Market.
#57 Gave Randy a swirly when he was five.
#119 Ruined Joy's chance to get into art school.
#206 Refused to dance with too tall Maggy at the 8th grade dance. edit »
- This episode was nominated for the 2007 Eddie Award for Best Edited Half-Hour Series for Television.
This episode was nominated for the 2007 Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Music for Television - Short Form. edit » - Willie, the one-eyed mailman, who tries to grab Earl's ticket but misses because he has no depth perception, is played by Ethan Suplee's (Randy) real life father. edit »
- This is an extended 40 minutes episode. edit »
- Earl: (voiceover) Doing things on the list without money was starting to feel like surfing TV channels without a clicker. It can be done, but your legs will get awfully tired. edit »
- Earl: (voiceover) I came over to talk to Joy about getting her into art school, but all she wanted to talk about was how I gave my money away.
Joy: Well the dummy has out-dummied himself, huh. Well, at least now you’re poor, I can stop being so nice to you. That just wears me out. edit » - Randy: I’m starving Earl. Maybe we should go steal some food. You know I get angry when I’m hungry. Like the Hulk, only I don’t get all green and muscly, I just get dizzy and snap at people that don’t deserve it. edit »
- Earl: Thanks Crab Man. It’s about time I did number one.
Darnell: Good luck with that. And I hope I scrubbed that bat disease out of that toilet. But if you start seeing with your ears and whatnot… get to a doctor. edit » - Darnell: Question, Earl. How do you decide what you’re gonna do next on your list? If it’s too personal, I’ll mind my own beeswax.
Earl: Well ah, sometimes karma gives me a sign, other times I just pick one at random.
Randy: And sometimes he lets me pick, but I get a little freaked out when I play God. That’s why I also don’t vote on American Idol. edit »
- The way the ticket moves around town (such as getting stuck to the bottom of a shoe) is very reminiscent of the '90s movie "Can't Hardly Wait," which incidentally, also had Jaime Pressly (aka Joy) as a cast member. edit »
- When Randy finds the silver dollar in the grate and goes and buys the ticket, that is a play on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It is when Charlie finds some money and then buys a candy bar and runs home to open it with his grandpa. Randy does the same thing. The scene where they are both trying to open it similar to Charlie and Grandpa Joe. The music in the background is the same as the movie. Randy's "golden ticket" ends up being a loser, like Charlies first candy bar. edit »
