  Earl tries to cross Jerry off his list. hide show

  After a less than stellar episode at the 8:00 slot, the 8:30 installment was just as disappointing. Here we saw Darnell and Joy capture a legendary pig, only for it to die on them. Earl tried to help a man after blowing up his RV, which contained his jug.
  
  The only positive thing was a great guest appearance by legendary comedian Jerry Van Dyke who was hilarious in the role as a Korean War veteran who wanted to chop off a friend's ear. The episodes didn't just have bad storylines, they were both jumping the shark-ish. Last week's episodes were good, but because of these two MNIE Season 4 is a mixed bag.
