Writer Dean Hargrove began in the business as a Staff writer on "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" and progressed in his career by becoming Writer-Producer-Director for many series including "Columbo", "Diagnosis: Murder", "It Takes A Thief", Jake and the Fatman", "Matlock", "Father Dowling" etc. In the 1980s and 1990s he was Executive Producer of the "Perry Mason" telemovies.
