Hi Folks,

I was born in 1970 and I've been a religious fan of Mythbusters since the first episode (Rocket car, Pop Rocks and Coke). My daughter, who was born in the late 90's, has been watching it with me whenever she canfor the last year and a half, so I know the show has a broad appeal.

I like to know, in general, how old the people are I'm talking to. So, with that in mind when were you born. If you don't want to give the specific year, just give the decade.

Mythbusters fans always struck me as the post 1980's type. My mom doesn't find the show very interesting, but I love it! And I'm post 1980's.

I can only speak from personal experience but as I said earlier, I was born in 1970 and I'm a big fan. My older sister (early 1960's) and my dad (1930's!) both love the show as well. I'm thinking we're seeing lop-sided results on the poll because of the basic demographic of tv.com users and people who use message boards, rather than the demographic of Mythbusters fans... but I could be wrong since most of the people in my family (myself included) are odd-balls.

1984 here, and somewhat uneasy over the notion that there will soon be kids born in 1990 attending post-secondary schools, including my younger cousins. *shudder*

I think most of the people who responded are in their teens or 20's but that doesnt really tell who watchs this show becuase there are much more teenagers than adults that talk on these forums, but from my experence my friends and I(all teenagers) watch this show alot more than my parents and their friends. That may just be my faily though.
