  Hi there! My name is Lauren Kurnit and I'm a casting associate for the unscripted series "Nanny 911", we are currently looking to cast families in the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT). We are essentially looking for families who really want or need the opportunity to spend three or four days working on bettering their lives with our nanny specialist. Perhaps mom and dad don't know how to deal with the public tantrums or wish that they could get through a meal without a meltdown; our nanny specialist will work with them to implement structure and create harmony in the home. As we all know, child rearing doesn't come with a manual and sometimes a little bit of outside help is all a family needs. If you are interested in helping us spread the word, please e-mail me and I will send you a flyer. Feel free to pass this information on to any families (single or two-parent) that you think might be interested. You can feel free to post it, email it to a mailing list or hand it out – whatever is easiest for you! Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the show can feel free to contact me via email (lauren.nanny911@yahoo.com) or 212-404-1842. Address and contact information 3. A brief description of the family members. They should be sure to note the out of control kids and give us examples of bad behavior /why they need a nanny specialist. 4. Whether you own or rent your home Any family who makes it on the show receives $10,000. The length of filming varies between three and four days.   I'm surprised there isn't a topic about this. I was at my friend's house last night. Her kids were acting crazy, so I joked that they should call Nanny 911. She has every episode on her DVR, so she showed me that one. That woman is a horrible, neglectful slob and her kids should be taken away! She's unfit to be a mother! Her husband should dump this loser woman and find someone who will appreciate him!  Off the record, my friend is a great mother and her kids were just acting silly. less «

  I know I may not be a child, but here's a small story and just need advice: I'm 24 years old and I live with me parents for almost 21 years (the last 3 years was when I was in college in a different city). But I want advice on how to deal with nagging parents, I mean they still nag and do the unthinkable to me. It's difficult for me to talk about this but what my dad did to me was the last straw and yet I'm still here. My father on I think it was new years (it might have been a different year but i know it was at night when my parents had a party). Im not denying that I may have a drinking problem, and yet my dad treats me like a little kid after I got confused on where my last alcohol was. I decided to go upstairs to get away from them and yet my dad follow me and (2 flights of stairs, one containing about 6 or 7 stairs and the 2nd containing 2 or 3 stairs) to the living room. When I got to the landing before the small flight of stairs he picked me up and literally threw me across the living room. (I was at least 23 yrs old at the time maybe just after I had my 24th bday). I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids and I have a small eye problem in which I wear glasses to help me read books or read the closed captioning on tv when I'm watching tv. When he threw me across the living room, it knocked off my left hearing aid and my glassed off, and have banged my head against a sharp corner of the small table that holds a flower pot and a bowl of keys. Right away I forgot about the booze, I immediately focused on what just had happened and was furious. I may have sounded like a little kid but I tell ya, I was pissed as hell. I went all over the house screaming that I will call the cops on him and yada, but I never called the cops. Now I just have this sense of fear for him. My mother, I don't fear her at all. I defeated her once, and its not about to happen again cuz she knows better not to mess with me. But my step-dad, he will not let up. I watch this show and even at my age, there are things that can still be applied to children over 18 that are living at home. I know cuz I agree with a lot of things that al the nannies have said in the episodes. But I was wondering what can I really do at my age? Even though I wish my parents would listen to me or at least talk to me when I feel sad or upset or whatever, but they never do. I'm always crying out for attention, even though I'm an introvert, I don't talk much, I'm very shy... I wonder if that's the reason why I am the way I am these days. Shorty19 less «

  I don't think I've ever seen a more appalling episode of Nanny 911. The Michelle, the mother who disrespected Nanny Stella, is the most cold-hearted, rude, unrelenting, and ignorant woman I've ever seen on this show. The way she denied her kids atrocious behavior really made me angry. This woman needs a serious reality check. I dont even think she's fit to be a mother. I mean, come on! Her children's STEP father is a better parent to the kids!
  
  The kids' behavior was horrible! I couldnt believe the four year old who used the f word on his sister! Where in God's name did he even learn that word? The way he treated Nanny Stella was disgusting to say the least.
  
  This episode probably angered me the most out of any episode I've EVER seen.

  A tv show can help a parent in distress. Consistency is the key to a well behaved child. hide « show »

  I love this show. I watch it every time it is on and I always thought my son was out of control but I see there are worse. This show has helped me to be focused and use consistency with the punishment. I use rules that I see the nannies use they also helped out alot. I never thought my son could sit down and relax for five minutes in a day. It was a tough road but gotta stick to it to make anything work. I was about to give up, then I spotted this show on tv and decided to watch it and love it ever since has helped me out a great deal.

  Love this show but a little confused about Nanny Yvonne are there 2 of her? hide « show »

  I am addicted to this show it makes me feel so much better about my life as a single Mom whenever I have a rough day with my daughter this makes me feel so much relief that she is not like the kids on the show. I am a little confused on the fact that there seem to have been two different Yvonne's on the show or am I wrong? Can someone tell me? Otherwise I simply love this show and hope that it will never come to a point where I would need them no offence. Much love and respect ladies

  The show is horrible, the nannies take a family with regular problems and seperate the family. The nannies think they know other peoples kids. The nannies are not professional psychiatrists they are pompus english women going around trying to show off their knowledge (or lack there of). Parents know their kids and should not need some tv Acterss' to come in and try to run their family. I hope that if you are watching this show that you examine yourself and your family, and see if you really wantto watch a show where a controlling person comes into the household an tears it apart. I suggest you not to watch this show.

  My name is Madeline Kenn. I am 14 and I love this show. I think that what the nannys do is incredible! I mean how they can take a house full of unruley kids and turn it in to a nice house to live in. I appresiate all of the work that the nannys do. Thank you Nanny 911!! I may only be 14 but I believe my oppinion matters. I am an only child and my mom works for the National Guard all day. So I get very lonely. Once again thank you Nanny 911!! From your biggest fan, Madeline Kenn.
