The first test of the Chuunin Exam is just that, a written test. When Ibiki issues a strict set of rules, Naruto fails to realize that the objective of the test is to cheat without getting caught. Can Naruto realize the truth before time runs out? And what about the tenth question?

Ibiki has just informed the genins that they are to take a written exam. Naruto starts to panic. Then Ibiki tells them that everyone starts out with ten points and that they will have ten questions. For every question that they miss, they will lose 1 point. And if they are caught cheating, they will lose ten points. In addition to that, if any team member fails, all three member will fail. Ibiki starts the first nine questions and tells them that they have forty-five minutes to finish it. All the questions are really hard. Sasuke figures out that they want them to cheat and not get caught in order to test their skills at gathering information. Naruto really starts to panic.....
I started laughing when I relized what message this was giving to kids. It's basically to cheat until you get caught. The objective is to not get caught and survive through the test, while cheating at the same time. It was cool to see the different moethods used to cheat though. I don't think some of them would actually work outside of the show though. Like the sharigan, no one has it, and also the teacher would see if your eyes just randomly turned red and you where writing without looking at your paper, but watching the other person's hand movement. It was funny to see what happened.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura all take part in the chunin exams which will decide whether or not they are fit to become chunin, middle-class ninja. The first test is a written which Sakura is excited about and Naruto is horrified about. Sakura is able to get the answers on her own while everyone else figures out that they have to cheat to pass the test. Naruto is the only one unable to figure this out. Hinata offers Naruto to get the answers of her test but he declines and says that he will pass the test no matter what. But when the 10th question is decided, will he be able to answer it?

This episode is one of my favorites because it has a trick. The Chunin Exam is not only about the information you know but about how well can you gather information without getting caught. Sasuke is so smart but poor Naruto, he couldn't figure it out. I see how clever now people are. Yes as it has been said before, the Chunin exams make people tense just like Naruto is. There were so many ways to cheat. Ibiki did seem strict but it was nice to se how people react to his somewhat strange rules. A real good example was Sakura. I could understand her ways. This was a great episode.
