Has it really been that long? NCIS should be canned already! hide show

Where are the good old days of Ziva and Dinozzo bantering? Of Gibbs being the brooding senior agent? McGee and Abby? This show has lost its 'loving' feeling and become just another cookie-cut, run of the mill show. The show is as follows:

Episode begins - murder victim - character development - suspects - more character development - throw in some 'lab' talk/autopsy - baddie is caught - character development - Episode ends!

I loved this show - but unfortunately it's just so predictable, it's too funny to even guess who the suspect is. And when are Ziva and Dinozzo finally going to admit their love for each other?

Maybe I'm just pent up about something else entirely but I will not be following this show. My score remains as is, purely for the fact that Abby/Palmer make up for the dire storylines!

    Danger Will Robinson! hide show

In the old sci-fi series, Lost In Space, Robot said, "Danger Will Robinson!" when threats appeared to young Will.

There's a scary trend happening with this season's NCIS! I can't help but think that the reason it's dipping in true quality is due to NCIS: LA. Don't sacrifice the original for the spin-off. Political commentary, mis-matched pairing of characters, lame intrigue, forced, "love interests" of Gibbs and the attorney played by, Rena Sofer, all seem to be gooping up the small screen. If I may, blah, blah, blah . . . beg the NCIS team to get back to the basics of real character development, ease-up on the political commentary, and get rid of Sofer's character.

NCIS rocks! For me, one of the best shows ever!! hide show

NCIS is a crime drama show about a team of federal agents that investigates crimes related to Marine Corps personnel. This team is made up of four agents: Gibbs (Mark Harmon), who is the team leader, a skilled investigator and interrogator. Working under Gibbs is Special Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), a former Baltimore homicide detective, womanizer and movie-quoting who gets the job done despite being the 'clown' of the group. The team also has Special Agent McGee, a computer geek who is usually teased by Tony, and Officer Ziva David, a former Mossad liaison officer and assassin, who is a very skilled fighter.

Helping them, they have Abby Sciuto, an energetic Goth who is the lab tech, and Ducky Mallard, the medical examiner.

This show combines action and humor, mostly lead by Michael's character. Some episodes are better than others, but this show gets better every passing year.
Overall, it's a good show if you want to laugh and have a good time. And if you start, you won't be able to stop!

    ohmazing!!!!! hide show

Gets better and better every season!! Every episode is both funny and interesting. The characters are interesting and extremely lovable. The new season brings promise and is turning out to be one of the best. Even the actors are having a great time during the filming of each episode, so it must be a sign of greatness! NCIS remains one of the top shows on television and has kept that status since season one. Not only is it extremely successful, it is also one of the most interesting on television. I personally have a great love for the show and the characters, as well as the actors and actresses. This show is simply amazing, and one of the best on TV in a long, long time.

    Refreshing episode :-) hide show

Now I'm a Christian and I didn't find this episode in the least bit insulting. On the contrary, I found it refreshing to see the Islam faith finally shown from it's positive angle. I also found Gibbs phrase very poignant. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what we choose to call God, he is always the same person by any name. All that differs in our religions is how we choose to honour him. Reading the other reviews I would just like to say, there is enough hate and violence in the world. Let's not make Christmas about that as well. Instead let's choose to respect each other and value each other's beliefs, just as God/Allah does.
I would like to take this time to wish everyone here at TV com a merry Christmas and to use the words of Tiny Tim, God/Allah bless us, every one.
