First apperance of Morris Adams, a straight A student. (edit) Morris Adams becomes the new class clown, but ends up in the office. Whether or not he becomes the new class clown for good isn't known, but he did manage to save the school from the darkness. (edit) Class clown at Polk was Todd. This is his first and last appearance in the series, due to a move to Cleveland. (edit) This episode marks the first appearance of the band teacher. (edit) The band Everclear appears in this episode. (edit)

Music teacher: I'm getting the feeling you all think that this is nap time!
(everybody wakes up with their pajamas on and holding pillows)
Everybody: Nope, nu-uh, no.
(Loomer jerks awake.)
Loomer: We love science! (edit) Ned: We have our class clown! (all cheering)

Backpack kid: (pulls out a Crubbs toy) This is Vice Principal...
(Vice Principal Crubbs just pass and takes the toy)
Backpack kid: I got nothing! (edit) Todd: (excited) I'm moving to Cleveland! (everyone stops talking and puts their heads down) (edit) Moze: Come on, is not like the teachers are gonna start to give us more quizzes.
Sweeney: Good news! With Todd gone, I have more extra time teach, which means time to give more quizzes! (laughs) (edit) Sweeney: How old is the earth?
Ned: A couple of years younger than you! (edit)

In "Music Class", in Ned's daydream, he is seen performing on "TRL". TRL was also mention on "Drake and Josh" in the episode "Drake and Josh go Hollywood". (edit) During the auditions, one of the students has a bag full of props. This is an allusion to the comedian Carrot Top who is known for doing his comedy skits with a lot of props. (edit) Ned mentions that he wants to rock out like Foo Fighters, Incubus, or Everclear. The music teacher is the lead singer and guitar player for Everclear, Art Alexakis. (edit) Ned daydreams of being on TRL, with the host J. Boogie. J. Boogie is also the host of Nick's Teen Nick. (edit) Mr. Gibson is the music teacher. Gibson is also the brand name of guitars. (edit)
