Neighbours is a weekday soap opera exploring the lives and relationships of the residents of Ramsay Street in Erinsborough. Now in its 24th year of production, Neighbours is Australia's most successful television program, not to mention being a hit world-wide. Neighbours has already hit the 5000th episode mark and looks set to continue serving up the laughter, tears and drama that has taken the world by storm. The show is currently produced by FremantleMedia Australia. Reg Watson is the man who created the show.

Music tracks provided to the show are done so by Mushroom Music Publishing. Animals appearing on the show are provided by Animal Actors. The current network's drama executive is Claire Tonkin and the network's publicist is Paula Lucarelli, these associations and people are credited at the end of each episode.

It should be noted that this episode guide runs at the same pace as the episodes originally air in Australia, these episodes air Monday-Friday at 6.30pm on Ten. For New Zealand the guide is approximately 3 weeks ahead (15 episodes). In the UK and Ireland the guide is approximately 9 weeks ahead (45 episodes), crew is added at the same pace as the UK episodes. Were available, cast is added at the same pace as the episodes first air, if not it's added at the same pace as the UK transmission.

The end credits of each episode show the entire main cast and any main cast that have moved from starring in the show, to take on a recurring role, even if they didn't appear in an episode. The episode guide however only contains the cast specific to the episode, along with the crew credited for appearing on the show.

Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson) is the only current cast member to appear in the first episode and remain on the show, although had left in 1992, before returning in 2005. He lives at number 22, with his daughter Lucinda 'Elle' Robinson (Pippa Black) and Donna Freedman (Margot Robbie).

Number 24, is currently empty.

Number 26 is the Parkers' family home, were Steve (Steve Bastoni), Miranda (Nikki Coghill) and Bridget (Eloise Mignon) live. The longest serving cast member Tom Oliver also lives with the Parkers, as Lou Carpenter. The Parkers nephew/cousin Mickey Gannon (Fletcher O'Leary) also lives here.

Number 28 is the Kennedy's family home, were Susan (Jackie Woodburne) and Karl (Alan Fletcher) live, alongside their adoptive son Zeke Kinski (Matthew Werkmeister) and his friend Ringo Brown (Sam Clark). Sunny Lee (Hany Lee Choi) also lives here.

Number 30 or 'The House of Trouser' as dubbed by many of it's residents over the years, is Jarrod Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) Toadies' home. Were he lives with his adopted son Callum Jones (Morgan Baker). The pair are joined by Dan Fitzgerald (Brett Tucker), Karl & Susan's daughter and Dan's husband, Elizabeth "Libby" Kennedy/Fitzgerald (Kym Valentine), Libby's son Ben (Blake O'Leary) also lives here.

Number 32, is the Hoyland family home, Steph Scully (Carla Bonner) lives here with her son Charlie Hoyland (Jacob Brito) and the Napier family, Rebecca (Jane Hall) and her son Declan (James Sorensen).

The only main character currently living off of Ramsay Street, is Lucas Fitzgerald (Scott Major).less «

  This show is set in Australia and is about the lives off a neighbourhood. It is fiction but it is directed do well that its feels like the show is real life. Watch it yourself and you will see what I meen! hide « show »

  I choose a classifiction of absolutely fabulous simpily because it is. Neighbours is my life along with home and away. They are fake but yet so real. Once you start watching neighbours you just can't stop it is additive,in a good way. Thy way it is directed is incredible it makes you feel that the events happening in the episode are happening right beside you,it is vert belivible. The actors and actresses in it know just how to play the roll of the charecter they are playing and make it very belivible and realistic. Neighbours is a show that can get your itention very easily and I would reccommend it to anyone at anytime.

  This show is the best. It makes you cry and be sad but it also makes you happy in some ways. It was a tragedy that Stingray died but the question is how he died? I was crying for about 3 days. Another tragedy is that Suesan has MS. But there is good parts about the show. Dan is with Sam and Fraiser is with Rosie. Little Kerry was born by Sky and Marco and Oliver are now getting along. This is a awesome show and everyone knows it is the best. I end by saying the only words that can describe this show "The best show ever made on Earth."

  An amazing show which has truly captured the heart of a nation! hide « show »

  So many reviews on this site view the show so negatively. But to contrast this, i argue that it is the success of this show which shows beyond doubt its long standing quality. The word popular can really tell us something about a show. This show (without doubt) is popular, and why is it popular? I intend to argue that it is the sheer quality that has braught this show to its extreme popular standing which it now holds in many nations. One only has to do a quick scan of a neighbours forum to see just how many and how extremely intent the viewers are. There are many intence forums which are both criticising and proving that this show is so great.

  Much better than H and A! hide « show »

  Where do I start? I guess I can't judge the early episodes, when you consider the fact that I was born during season nine, and didn't start watching till I was swept in by the 20th anniversary promos.I have seen only a very small amount of H and A but I much prefer the plotlines of Neighbours. It has much more action, and is on at a more convieneint (how do you spell that?) time. The recent Danceclub collapse was a good storyline, but not a particular favorite of mine. The only good that came out of it was that Jessica died (YIPPEE!). The plane crash was done ages and AGES ago, but I remember it as my current fav cliffhangar. So in closing, I will end with a mature statement: Neighbours Rules! Home and Away Drools!

  An Aussie drama. hide « show »

  It's a fair show that I watch on some weeknights. However, it doesn't have that addictive agent to attract more people and to hold on to viewers who are currently watching.
  
  I've said this about many shows, but it needs something. It needs something special.
  
  Well, this show is about the life and times of the residents of Ramsay Street in Melbourne, Australia. It has different plots that develop. A current one is Ned and Janae, with Kirsten trying to get them to break up. It's been going on for way too long.
  
  However, not all plots are bad. Some are good and those are the ones that make me want to watch.
  
  Please make an improvement to this show!
