Friar Tuck holds a charity auction, in which one of the lots is a date with Robin. When Robin learns that his father may still be alive, he goes off in search of his father, but he turns out to be an impersonation by a sorceress, and he has to battle her and another sorcerer before he can return to the auction. Meanwhile Friar Tuck has to hold off the women of the village, who are becoming impatient with Robin's absence.
In this updated version of the Robin Hood legend, Robin virtually abandons the longbow in order to engage in swordplay and verbal banter with the villains, while Marion fights beside him with sword and whip. There is also more sorcery and fantasy than in most previous versions. Little John and Friar Tuck round out the quartet of principals.
The role of both Robin and Marion was played by two different actors.
