What to Watch Tonight: CSI Says Goodbye to Capt. Brass, SVU Collars Bradley Whitford, and Catfish Boots Up Season 3

What to watch on Wednesday, May 7...

8pm, ABC
The Middle
Notching one more bullet point on her Parent of the Year Award submission form, Frankie restricts the kids’ demands to a one-hour-a-day window in “Office Hours.” At the other end of the parental-engagement spectrum, Mike keeps a vigilant eye on Darrin’s behavior with Sue.

8pm, The CW
Arrow
With the Slade Brigade running roughshod over Starling City in “Streets of Fire,” Team Arrow must crank its hero-ing quotient up a few levels—aided by a late-breaking development from S.T.A.R. Labs. Meanwhile, Thea at last meets her dear old dad Malcolm.

8pm, ABC Family
Melissa & Joey
Mel has planned the perfect wedding ceremony for her friend Carrie in “Right Place Right Time.” Well, except for the one tiny snag of the bride calling off the engagement. But hey, why let everything borrowed and blue go to waste… perhaps she and Joe could put them to good use instead?

8:30pm, ABC
Suburgatory
Apparently it’s Wedding Planning Wednesday on the Walt Disney Company family of networks, because “Les Lucioles” finds Tessa taking the reins of Lisa and Malik’s knot-tying. While Malik’s family boycotts the ceremony, Lisa receives some motherly advice from Sheila, and I’m honestly not sure which of them is in the more awkward spot there.

9pm, NBC
Law & Order: SVU
Amid a high-profile divorce, a TV producer (Bradley Whitford) is accused of molesting his young daughter in “Reasonable Doubt.” But the decision of his estranged wife (Samantha Mathis) to try the case in the media rather than cooperate with the cops casts suspicion on her claim.

SEASON 9 FINALE, PART 1, 9pm, CBS
Criminal Minds
“Angels” sends the team to Texas, where the slaying of several call girls is tinged with signs of religious zealotry. But their investigation draws the BAU directly into the killer’s crosshairs.

9pm, ABC
Modern Family
Well we’re back on an ABC channel, so that must mean more wedding storylines! And indeed, Cam and Mitch consider selling some beloved possessions to defray their nuptials’ rapidly escalating costs in “Message Received.” Meanwhile, Jay, Gloria, and Manny challenge one another to each try something new, and the Dunphy kids prank their parents.

9pm, The CW
The 100
Winter is coming, so Clarke and Bellamy forage for a store of supplies in “Day Trip.” Which means they may miss all the tripping-balls fun as a few of the others inadvertently ingest hallucinogenic nuts. On the Ark, Commander Shumway charges one of the Hundred with a secret and deadly mission, and the truth of Diane Sydney’s treachery comes out.

9pm, PBS
NOVA
Experts in Australia and the U.S. try to get to the bottom of “Why Sharks Attack.” What has driven the recent increase in shark encounters in places like Australia and Cape Cod? Aside from some overzealous viral marketing efforts by Syfy, of course.

10pm, ABC
Nashville
Weirdly, nobody seems to be getting married in “All or Nothing with Me”; I guess Nashville’s writers didn’t get the Wedding Planning Wednesday memo. Instead, please enjoy Rayna pulling together a charity concert at Ft. Campbell after learning of Luke’s injury in Afghanistan, while Will and Layla start shooting their reality show and Jeff threatens to come clean to Avery, riling Juliette.

SEASON 3 PREMIERE, 10pm, MTV
Catfish: The TV Show
Tale as old as time / True as it can be / Meet as Facebook friends / Then somebody tends / To act crazily / Hacking his accounts / Causing him to flee / Making weird demands / Nev will lend a hand / Catfish Season 3.

SEASON 14 FINALE, 10pm, CBS
CSI
The team’s latest case has links to a quarter-century-old mob heist in “Dead in His Tracks.” Elsewhere, Brass's daughter’s suicide attempt leaves the captain at an agonizing crossroads that may or may not okay probably definitely result in him leaving the force.

10pm, TV Land
Hot in Cleveland
The ladies want to add a puppy to their mix in “The One With George Clooney,” but first they must persuade redoubtable shelter volunteer Max Greenfield that they’re up to the responsibility. In other plots that, as far as I can tell, don’t actually involve George Clooney, Elka’s relationships with Mamie and Roy veer down a new path.

10pm, FXX
Legit
“Intervention” finds Janice and Walter confronting Steve about his alcohol consumption. Granted, with a coke party revving up in Jim’s bedroom, their timing could have been a mite better.

10pm, FX
The Americans
Philip follows a lead to learn more about crucial American military technology in “Stealth.” Meanwhile, Elizabeth uncovers surprising details about their handler, and Stan makes headway in his pursuit of the illegals.

10pm, NBC
Chicago P.D.
The Intelligence Unit is nonplussed to learn that Pulpo is back on the streets as part of an operation to track down a cartel bigwig. Elsewhere in “My Way,” Ruzek faces unpleasant news, Lindsay’s past rears its head, troubling details about Jin come to light, and 85 percent of you just completed a row on your B-Plot Bingo cards.

The advent of the video is cool but I'm not a fan of it just starting on it's own. If you guys could make it so it doesn't just start that would be good, when it's about something I don't care about of if I'm busy reading something further up on the page then it's an annoyance.

Yo, Tv.com, enough of the auto-play videos. Nobody likes it. It's annoying and invasive and you will start losing visitors very soon if it continues.

God damn, what the hell... Even Facebook had the decency to mute their videos when they're on autoplay. Literally no one wants to hear that crap blaring out of their speakers and spend the next minute searching open tabs to find one video player buried halfway down the page.

I skimmed the info on Wiki on it but it doesn't seem like it made for Safari (it talks about Firefox and others). I never had this problem with this site prior to yesterday.

I think the JavaScript blocker extension is what you need for Safari. I don't know for sure, because I don't have a Mac, but it says it's similar to NoScript. You might want to ask around some Apple forums to see if there's something better or to make sure this one is okay.
