Nothing says Halloween like gallons of red corn syrup, eh? Here's our extremely morbid list of bloody, campy death scenes. SPOILERS AHEAD, OBVIOUSLY.
Chef on South Park
May he rest in two-dimensional peace.
The Homeless Man (Eric Lynch) on Fringe
"Eric the Midget" really went out with a bang, didn't he?
Warren Mears (Adam Busch) on Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Don't mess with Willow (Alyson Hannigan). Especially when she is bored.
Longshadow (Raoul Trujillo) on True Blood
This death may have actually been worse for Sookie (Anna Paquin).
Castiel (Misha Collins) on Supernatural
This scene contains the greatest—and probably only—on-screen use of the word "assbutt."
Doc Arzt (Daniel Roebuck) on Lost
Doc Arzt knows that handling explosives is dangerous—and he finds out first hand.
Fat Dom (Tony Cucci) on The Sopranos
With Silvio Dante (Steve Van Zandt) and Carlo Gervasi (Arthur J. Nascarella) going against you, you have no hope. [Warning: Naughty language ahead!]
Robo-Ant on Happy Tree Friends
This is just disgusting.
Sydney (Laura Leighton) on Melrose Place
This one's a classic, no?
Basically everyone on Six Feet Under
This video contains just a sampling of this show's masterful campy deaths-of-the-week.

I completely agree with Warren's and Castiel's deaths, though I think that there were other, "better" deaths than Long Shadow's on True Blood, like Franklin Mott's squish and splurt.
The actors on "Melrose Place" were really bad...
Happy Tree Friends should not be on this list. That show is terrible on every level, and the deaths are just too obscure and hold no meaning; I'd rather put anyone from South Park in place of Happy Tree Friends.Still just as meaningless, but those are at least done with class and pizazz.
My list would include Dr. Reed from Grey's Anatomy. If I was making a list of just brutal deaths Dr. Reed and The bomb guy from Greys would both be there along with Alex from Third Watch.
tecnachly sydney died after she was stabbed by a crazy lady
Who could forget Diana Muldauer's Rosiland Shays falling down an elevator shaft in LA Law, or a similar one in HIll Street Blues. A councilman was leading a tv news crew through a slum dwelling, pointing out the code violations and he leaned on a window sill, which broke and sent him plummeting to his death. The coup de grace was James B. Sikking (Lt Hunter) later describing the horrific scene, in dead pan detail, "And we walked out of the building and there was Fisk.........and there was Fisk.....and there was Fisk......................."
ugh... Happy Tree Friends = disgusting and Six Feet Under...they had to be very creative :)
Ummm... I remember a *helicopter* falling on a certain snarky member of the ER staff - is that not good enough??
Willow and Supernatural were grossly awesome. True Blood was just nasty. the vampire that Jason and whatever Lizzy Caplan's character's name was kidnapped died a better way than the one in the video though. or the crazy one that kidnapped Tara. Castiel was also shocking, but atleast he's an angel and came back. and i laughed at the Lost one when it aired, my favorite part was when Hurley told Jack that he had a piece of him stuck on his back lol and yes. Dead Like Me had some good ones that are missing here
Great list of Brutally Fun Deaths! Dark Willow skinning Warren was quite brutal and nasty!
I love the Six Feet Under deaths, though not the music in the background of the clip
Dead like me had a few funny deaths =)
warren so need to died and It was gross yet good.
I think the Six feet Under vid missed the woman celebrating her divorce sticking her head out of a moving limo hitting a traffic light flattening her face can't remember what season. Also a gruesome death involving an elevator on Supernatural season 4 i think.
I remember when Arzt got it. When the season finale was rerun, I tuned in with the intention of just watching to that part and ended up rewatching the whole thing. How many characters died right after calling what's-her-name "princess"?
Arzt is a classic ... they even made it again in season 6 with another character which I won't name here ... but that time it was ... lame.
six feet under had so many good deaths!!
It was such a shame Isaac Hayes and Stone/Parker couldn't see eye to eye at the end of his South Park run but that was some way to kill him off lol. Also so glad Arzt was killed off LOST he drove me nuts in that first season.Surprised any of the Dexter kills don't make it.
Yes, Six Feet Under should make the list!
But Melrose Place's Sydney didn't really die until 13 years later. In the 2009, reboot it was revealed that Syd survived the car crash and Michael helped fake her death to escape bad guys who were out to kill her. Syd then went to prison and eventually became owner/landlady of Melrose Place, only to be murdered by Michael's new wife, who was jealous of Michael's affair with Syd. Whew!
Happy Tree Friends is pretty disgusting! But funny.
The one from Happy Tree Friends realy creeped me out!
The Buffy one is classic. Possibly the most memorable of the show. And when it said Bored now ZI thought of the first time Willow utters those words many seasons earlier. And why don't I remember that happening to Cas? Bad mojo'd Sam? And I thought the Sookie one was tame. Then I was reminded. Far from it. I love REAL vampires.
the snapping fingers! i absaluty love it! and willow's torture thing!
God that Buffy one still give me the creeps
A piece on funny deaths and you didn't include the whole Dean dying over and over in Mystery Spot episode? Those were some really fun deaths! :D
LOVE that you included Buffy! Never bore Willow. And of course Supernatural, Fringe, and Lost were fantastic.
LOLOLOLOL yeah, I am still chuckling at the Happy Tree Friends clip.
Another one is Buckwheat played by Eddie Murphy on SNL. Go onto Hulu and watch.
Although we never saw it happen number 1 has got to be Chuckles The Clown on Mary Tyler Moore.
Every time i see evil willow i think of tara... me sad now... =(
You really need to include Dead Like Me in this one.
Nice choice:)
This is fun list.
I really like the last kill/death on the Six Feet Under compilation...I never watched that show, so I was not expecting that to happen to that dude. Hilarious.
lol, this was fun, p.s. best ever is castiel
The Happy Tree Friends deaths are always disgusting!!! The ones from Fringe and Supernatural are awesome!!!
but supernatural, fringe, six feet under and the death of chef on south park. fab!
yes! sydney on melrose place, lol.
or the conclusion of NCIS season 2! (Kate getting killed by a K.A.T.E.)??
Love that Buffy, SPN, and Fringe are on here. Ripping apart and exploding seems to be the dominant theme.
Longshadow on True Blood was fun, as was Franklin. And the there was Talbot. Oh and the guy in the basement with Lafayette...what was his name...Yep, True Blood knows how to kill 'em off.
Have to agree with some others here - there are some really cool deaths on Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies!
