Last year, we put in this polite request to the Glee powers that be, hoping that some of our favorite songs would somehow make it to the small screen. Since the show obliged us with rockin' renditions of two of those songs, "Dream On" and "Bohemian Rhapsody," we thought we'd try again. After all, we have awesome taste. Here are 20 more songs that we'd love to see on Glee this season:
1. More Than A Feeling by Boston
Finn (Cory Monteith) has repeatedly expressed his love for classic rock—and this song would fit right in with his other hair-band-tastic performances (i.e. Journey, Air Supply, Kiss).
2. Come on Over by Christina Aguilera
Remember when Rachel (Lea Michele) told Finn that she wanted to wait until she was 25 to have "intercourse and babies"? Well, she could change her mind.
3. Brown-Eyed Girl by Van Morrison
Puck (Mark Salling) has been trying to impress Quinn (Dianna Agron) for some time now... and we think this tune might be the one that would win her over.
4. Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall
Once the winning-over is complete and Puck lands Quinn on his arm, Quinn will need a song to sing, too! This one fits perfectly in her range.
5. Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova
Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) is mesmerized by Mike Chang's (Harry Shum, Jr.) abs right now, but deep down she knows she belongs with Artie (Kevin McHale). Singing this duet from Once (or any duet from the movie, really) will help them get back together.
6. Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen
I just want to see Will (Matthew Morrison) shake his groove thing... and Emma (Jayma Mays) probably wouldn't mind spying on him, either.
7. Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham!
Last year, I suggested Wham!'s "Everything She Wants" for Kurt (Chris Colfer), and I'm not going to stop until he gets his George Michael on. Isn't Kurt supposed to get a boyfriend this season, anyway?
8. Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie
Santana (Naya Rivera) will probably be pissed or jealous or offended by something this season, especially if Puck and Quinn reunite. What better way for her to express herself than by showing her Fergilicious side?
9. Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar
If Santana is pissed, then Brittany (Heather Morris) is pissed, too. She'd rock this song—and give it the killer choreography it never had.
10. Don't You Forget About Me/Orinoco Flow by Simple Minds/Enya
In case Will gives the kids another mash-up assignment, Finn would have this one completely covered. (Trust me, the songs go together if you adjust the keys.)
11. Take It Easy by the Eagles
Yet another song for Puck to croon to steal the hearts of all the women-folk.
12. (I've Had) The Time of My Life by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes
Finn and Rachel could do some major justice to the signature song from Dirty Dancing, as long as the learn the dance routine, too.
13. Footloose by Kenny Loggins
Speaking of dance routines, it's about time for Artie to have another flash mob daydream, is it not?
14. When You Really Love Someone by Alicia Keys
Mercedes (Amber Riley) could make this beautiful, soulful ballad even better. I mean, you saw what she did with "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going."
15. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
Sam (Chord Overstreet) could lead the football team to victory (from the sidelines, anyway) with this super-inspiring anthem—and Coach Beiste (Dot Jones) might let the rest of the gang join in after they win.
16. A Whole New World from Aladdin
Sunshine (Charice Pempengco) has since transferred to Carmel High and Vocal Adrenaline, which obviously means she's dating Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) and needs a song to sing to him to express her gratitude.
17. I Can't Let Go by Linda Ronstadt
If the above is true, then Rachel will see the pair together and, of course, feel a bit peeved. And her feelings for Jesse might resurface. And then she'd need a little Ronstadt to ease the pain.
18. Hard-Knock Life by Jay-Z
Budget cuts are hitting New Directions pretty hard, and Will has shown an affinity for rapping in the past. He could lead the kids in this performance—and storm Sue's (Jane Lynch) office with song.
19. Surfin' Safari by the Beach Boys
Actually, any song by the Beach Boys will do. Whatever gets New Directions out of Ohio and into the California sun.
20. Seasons of Love from Rent
It's the obvious choice for the group's next big Broadway number. ("I'll Cover You" will also work.) Let's hope Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel) comes back for this performance.

Puck should sing Sweater song by Hedley to Quinn :) Just saying. Its his type of song. xD
They Should do: 1. Christine Anu - My Island Home
2. Jessica Mauboy - Get 'Em Girls
3. Jessica Mauboy - Been Waiting
4. Jessica Mauboy - Because
5. Jessica Mauboy - Burn
Five-hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes! I LOVE Seasons of Love- one of my favorite songs from RENT. Love to see either that, I'll Cover You, or maybe even Without You. So many good songs to choose from.
I would love to see Finn and Rachel sing the Elephant Love Song medley from Moulin Rouge
China Girl by David Bowie.
I'd like to see them go back to singing Broadway-style show tunes.which made them so different than other music shows. Too much rockin music now!
I support the Moulin Rouge Idea! But any song thats on the show leaves a mark on this generation... good show
this show is a disgrace and as a springsteen fan a sure a hell hope they leave him the hell alone. i hope this fad ends soon
Only thing about the Sunshine & Jesse thing is that Jesse was a senior last year, wasn't he? So he would've graduated, so why would he stick around and date a high schooler?
Seasons of Love - YES YES YES
i don't think any of these would do well.. the songs need to be part of the storyline. and why does it mean Sunshine's dating Jesse? Jesse said he was a senior last season which means he's graduated now
Yuck! No ABBA!!!!! Or the BeeGees. Kurt should NOT do "Still Haven't Found What I'm Lookin For". Maybe Puck or Sam or even Finn, Artie would be perfect, but not Curt
I would love a rent homage!!! I've been thinking about this since last year. Also would love to see some ABBA, or eurovision song contest mash up. I mean Diva (dana international) for Kurt would be awesome! But I van think of many more awesome songs!!
Hey Jude!
why suggest they destroy more decent music... they are good enough at coming up with this on their own
Come on Eileen, Beatles tribute,
A tribute to Kylie Minogue, ABBA, Wham, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Holding out for a Heroe, anything from Cindy Lopper , Blondie, Amy Winehouse
i would like to see a duet performed by Whitney Houston and Deborah Cox called Same Script Different Cast
Jethro Tull's Thick as a Brick!
LOVE RENT!! I would love it if idina came back but she probably won't!
LOVE RENT!! I would love it if idina came back but she probably won't!
I LOVE Rent. I've been thinking seasons of love the whole show =]
I Think we need something from Moulin Rouge. So many great songs to choose from!
There's a Fine Fine Line from Avenue Q. I think most anything from A-Q, but Fine Fine Line would be amazing.
OMG I totally agree with Seasons of love... soooo great!!!
I totally agree with Snyltesoppen! The 90's.
How about something for Kurt's Dad like John Denver(Rocky Mountain High) or Jim Croce(I've got a name) or maybe Bob Seger (Roll Me Away is my fav)
Worst Show EVER!!! Please!, Cancel Now!!!!!
Suddenly I See is wonderful. I'd love to hear Quinn sing it!
Fat Bottom Girls by Queen
I'd like to see a MJ tribute with the entire cast performing songs from the King of Pop :-)
Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
Any song by The Beatles, Travelling Wilburys, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, John Lennon, Paul Mccartney, George Harrison, Ringo, ELO andBadfinger. Get the picture? Also they should have a Blues episode and a Country episode.
They should exclude most so called music after 2000 (except maybe country), which as we all know, is GARBAGE!
Don't forget, though. Puck only sings songs by Jewish artists.
Didn't Jesse St. James (Jonathon Groff) graduate from Carmel? He commented he's a senior during dialogue with Rachael.Don't send New Directions to California! I know the Beach Boys are classic! Come on!!
I would like it if they could sing their own music.Something original as opposed to using already-established and making worse versions.
Also, Hands Up, as well as any other song, by Hedley! And any Marianas Trench song!!
Come On Eileen by Aha, She's A Genius, Roll Over DJ, Look What You've Done, or any other song by Jet! Hey Soul Sister by Train would be good too! Oh! Also Drops of Jupiter would be amazing as well!
I would like to see some Sondheim...
we need an episode dedicated to the 90`s. Ace of Base and eurodance
yes!!!!! ive been waiting for someone to say RENT
I think it's a pretty conservative (karaoke) choice - I'm sure we can do better and help up and coming songwriters. So, how about a song called "This Familiar Way" by Nina Nastasia - perfect for Rachel's newly discovered birth mother?
Those stage school scum had better not put their mits anywhere near The Boss's material. They've already ruined Jump by Van Halen & Gold Digger by Kanye West. Orinoco Flow? Seriously?
except for Fergie and Aguilera, sweet list
