2014 Fall Finales Calendar: Find Out When Your Favorite Shows Are Signing Off for the Year

The end of the year is upon us, and with it, the onset of TV's winter hiatus, when all our favorite shows hibernate for anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months while we mire in reruns. With a slew of mid-season send-offs (as well a few season and series finales) on the docket for December, we've compiled a handy schedule to help you keep track of what's signing off when. Below, you'll find all of this fall's finale dates organized alphabetically by show (if you'd prefer a chronological listing, check out Page 2). Happy holidays!

Note: If a show isn't listed, that may be because we don't have a confirmed 2014 end date for it. We'll continue to update this story as more dates role in.

Eh, a list of tv shows... But where are all "my" shows? Pretty Little Liars, The Fosters, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Modern Family, Mom, The Middle. All missing. Except for Grey's Anatomy. Oh well, I guess the dates aren't in yet.

Don't know about all of them, but I know at least that Pretty Little Liars doesn't HAVE a fall finale, because it's a midseason show and thus isn't aired during fall. ;-) There's a list of start dates for the midseason shows... somewhere.... I couldn't find it on TV.com, so here's a list of a different website: http://www.cinemablend.com/television/2014-Midseason-TV-Premiere-Schedule-61259.html
Seems most of the shows you were talking about are indeed midseason shows, so that perfectly explains why they're not in this list of fall finale dates. ;-)

Thanks, but Mom, TBBT, New Girl, Modern Family and The Middle aren't midseason shows.

And whoops, I see that's a list from last year.... Sorry, my bad ;-)

But as I recall those are all shows that air during summer and winter, not fall and spring, like all shows in this list. Oh well, that's not all clear stuff anyway, 'cause, for example, Arrow and Person of Interest are 'fall & spring shows' that already return in January, during mid season... So I don't know, maybe you're right and this is a random list of shows anyway :P

So, next week is the end of Arrow/The Flash, then the week after Person of Interest returns for one last episode of the year. And that will be it for all the shows I'm watching live.

I am trying to catch up on Grimm before they take the first episode off of my DVR's on-demand, so it is possible I'll be caught up for the mid-season finale, but it's more likely that I'll try catching up by the time it returns.

Lol, those are the only shows I watch live as well. I wish CBS would advertise better - PoI tanked in the ratings last year after the bizarre two week wait for the mid-season finale - an amazing number of people don't watch for that.

I'm even behind on Grimm - usually I binge at Christmas but I'm debating just waiting for the blurays and binge watching over the summer - haven't decided yet.

Are you sure that A to Z and Bad Judge are series finales? Werent' they supposed to air all 13 episodes?

Ick good catch, I jumped the gun on that. Removed the 'series finale' label.

Hmm. So it looks like Sleepy Hollow, The Originals, Agents of SHIELD, Supernatural, Arrow, Chicago PD, NCIS: New Orleans, POI & The 100 all go away in that order. Oh man, the POI fall finale is going to be epic!

It's always a sad time at this time of the year when our favorite TV series come to an end for the holidays to be replaced by over the top commercially-induced Christmas specials.Pass the eggnog, heavy on the booze! ;)

Not for me - it's a great time to binge-watch ones I have recorded. Just started Penny Dreadful, looking forward to The Game, and I'll be picking up Hemlock Grove and Honourable Woman tomorrow at the library after months of waiting. Woo hoo!

LOL! That's true,Christmas time is a good time to catch up with TV series.Over the holidays,I'll start season one of Justified and The Strain and catch up with Fururama,Grimm,Game of Thrones and Castle.Plus I always sneak in classic TV sitcom X-mas episodes.

Lucky you - Justified is way better than most of the shows going on hiatus...

Forgot about Forever...

At least ABC gave it a chance. I can't be too disappointed when the exponentially better Awake, FlashForward and maybe Event went down the drain just as fast. Only on cable is there any hope of seeing anything last that isn't a remake or spinoff or comic book derivative with a built-in fan base...

Yea Forever was one of the ones I was really looking forward to and although I do love it a lot. It is a lot slower than I expected it to be but I suppose even if you were immortal you would NOT be trying to die as much as possible. So it does make sense. Really love the cast. So I am really glad it was picked up for more but I was a little surprised. ( just a little )

if A to Z finishes on December 11th, are they going to double up or just not air some episodes? only 8 have aired, and December 11th will be the 9th episode, but there is supposed to be 13 episodes... unless they just didn't finish production since it was cancelled?

shows go off for six weeks and then come back to usually one pop in demo followed lower and lower ratings in the spring. so this fall finale, build anticipation for the return obviously isn't working. people begin to do other things or start watching the winter cable shows and don;t come back.

Usually when all these mainstay shows end, it will be the season for a new True Blood to start the spring. Now that TB is 6 feet under, which big show has filled its coffin, if any? Can't really think of any that comes even close.

Since I am about two or three episodes behind on my shows due how I watch, this only, hopefully, gives me a chance to catch up by the time the shows return.
