UPDATE 5/9: Thank you for your patience. The guide should be working again! Please let an editor know if you see any more issues.
Everyone always makes a big deal about the fall television schedule, but did you know that television still happens in the summer? If you don't believe us, check out our handy-dandy interactive summer schedule, which is loaded with premiere dates for all the new and returning shows airing on broadcast and cable during these warm, lemonade-sipping months. You can sort through the pile by weekday, network, or returning-versus-new status, or you can save yourself the trouble of rummaging for something good by searching for our editors' picks.
So: What will YOU be watching this summer?
Please give the module a few seconds to load, it's a heavy one!
Editor's Note #1: If you click the "follow" button next to any given show, it will: 1. add that show to your "following" list (which you can access via the dropdown menu in the upper righthand corner of the site, next to your user name), 2. add that show to a personalized listings module on the TV.com homepage, and 3. add you as a member of the corresponding show community (if it exists), which means you'll see posts about the show in your community feed.
Editor's Note #2: Currently, our module only displays shows that have definite premiere dates—until a show is officially on the schedule, it won't appear in the widget. So, don't fret because you don't see a premiere date for your favorite summer series. It just means the network hasn't set a definitive premiere date yet.
Editor's Note #3: If you think you've found an error or notice that we've missed a particular premiere date, please (politely!) let us know in the comments.

Voltron: Legendary Defender NEW SERIES

- Rizzoli & Isles
- Suits
- Killjoys
- Dark Matter
Could have been a lot shorter if they went ahead and cut Killjoys & Dark Matter.?
Not anymore. Now there's all sorts of pressure to keep up with what's on during the summer. Oh, one COULD wait until fall, winter or spring to catch up, but by then spoilers abound, shows you were interested in might be cancelled, and there will be a million new shows to watch.
Enjoy your summer viewing, young'uns .
OITNB Season 4
Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll
the Fosters
Mr. Robot
and The Bachelorette, most likely. (It's soapy and sorta terrible, but it's like a bad trainwreck...you just can't look away!)
I'd also like to get into Zoo - it sounds interesting - but I gotta start from Season 1, 'cause I'm behind.
This in addition, of course, to the Netflix shows I'm in the middle of already. :)

Looks like a it is a Canadian series that syfy picked up. Continuum was a Canadian series that was good so this one could be worth checking out. Good cast...
The Code is in post-production. Release date is unknown.
So instead I'll have to focus on another Netflix series with high production values, arriving after a longer hiatus - Marco Polo.
Besides that, I think Preacher might be the only new series I intend to follow from the very start (hopefully it's going to be closer to Netflix shows or Agents of Shield in terms of quality, rather than the CW ones; I don't think I could stand more of the latter).
The rest is wait and see, mostly for what kind of reception they get from fellow TV watchers.
I might try to catch up with Mr. Robot and Kingdom in time for their respective sophomore seasons; or if not, decide to delve in afterwards if the word of mouth is still as strong.
Will watch: Scream, Angie Tribeca, BrainDead, Murder in the First, Zoo, Killjoys, Dark Matter, Mr. Robot, Halt and Catch Fire, Sense8.
Will try: Preacher, Wayward Pines, Roots, Stranger Things, Thirteen, Queen of the South, American Gothic.
Maybe: American Gothic, Thirteen, Dead of Summer, Cleverman, Outcast.
IMHO notable names: Virginia Madsen (American Gothic), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (BrainDead), Winona Ryder (Strange Things).
There are however a lot of great shows that are not made in the US , so I guess I will catch up on those.
Preacher
Roadies
Returning
Ray Donovan
Scream
Pretty Little Liars
Wayward Pines
Tyrant
Mr. Robot
(some of these are on the list because I got so far with the show I might as well continue)
Wayward Pines
Murder In The First
I liked all three of them and I'm really surprised W.P. got a second season.
Well, I'm planning to start watching Marseille this week.
I think the only other ones I'll have a look at are:
Sunday: Feed the Beast
Wednesday: Cleverman
Friday: Stranger Things
Is Marco Polo any good?
That said, the pilot for Marco Polo was fairly weak. I only started coming around by the end of the 2nd episode, then came the stronger ones. The acting can be occasionally uneven and it would probably be better if the actors spoke English less.
On the other hand, it has some amazing visuals and greatly choreographed action sequences. Plus some interesting characters who are largely non-Caucasian; if that historical setting and culture appeal to you, it's going to be a huge plus. Once the show settles in, the pace of storytelling is brisk.
