A Halloween Treat for All You Tricksters: Stefon’s Long-Forgotten SNL Debut! (VIDEO)

Witching hour is upon us, and who better to ring in All’s Hallow Eve than New York City's most lovable nightlife goblin, Stefon!? Many of you know Stefon from his many memorable "Weekend Update" appearances, but what you might not know is that Stefon actually made his debut in a sketch with Ben Affleck during SNL's 34th season in 2008. In it, the two played brothers pitching a movie to Hollywood executives. Ben was trying to sell and old-fashioned football story, while Stefon, well, Stefon was only interested in describing male physiques, denim stitching, and group sex scenarios. You can tell the audience doesn’t know quite what to make of the character; I’m glad the show stuck with him, upped the absurd-o-factor, and made him the show’s nightlife correspondent.
