ABC Announces 2011 Premiere Dates for Castle, Modern Family, and the New Charlie's Angels

ABC has announced another bunch of series premiere dates, so you can now plan your September vacation around the debut of Charlie's Angels. Taking a brief glance at the lineup, there's nothing really surprising except for the delayed start of fairy-tale drama Once Upon a Time, which won't launched until October 23, a full month after the hoopla from "premiere week" has died down to a hush.

Elsewhere, super-sized premieres seem to be the theme, with half-hour comedies Modern Family, The Middle, and Tim Allen's Last Man Standing all being expanded to an hour for their first episodes. Grey's Anatomy and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will get the two-hour treatment in order to serve all your fake medical and real domestic issues needs.

I don't know about "marking my calendar," but I will be watching Castle, Modern Family, and Happy Endings for sure. My maybes are basically with some of the new shows. I actually like the premises of Revenge and Suburgatory, but I don't think I've ever liked a show based in the posh suburbs. Both Last Man Standing and Man Up! seem okay, I guess. And Charlie's Angels looks a little... terrible... but I like beautiful women and I like crime fighting action. I guess I'll watch all their premieres, give them a chance or two. I won't be watching Pan Am or Once Upon a Time.

I guess ABC has little faith in Once Upon A Time. They don't seem to want it to get crushed by the other new fall shows. I'll also check out Pan AM and Charlie's Angels. I haven't been this interested in ABC in a long time.

Once upon a time might as well already be cancelled. I can't decide if I should watch it or not.

Castle for sure and Revenge and Once Upon a Time look interesting. ABC once again has a fairly decent Sunday night lineup. We'll see how long it lasts.
