ABC has committed to a drama pilot about first-year cops on the LAPD.
"It is a vicarious pleasure to write about cops because I know I'd last about seven minutes in their shoes," said writer-producer Jeff Rake.
He most recently executive-produced Fox's short-lived series Head Cases. He also cocreated and executive-produced Miss Match, the NBC comedy-drama starring Alicia Silverstone.
