ABC Makes No Ordinary, Better Pick Ups

  • 3comments

If there were any year to be a showrunner and parade a new series to the masses, it's this year. Networks are being awfully generous with new-series pick ups this season, and the latest to hand out full-season orders is ABC.

New comedy Better With You and superhero family drama No Ordinary Family were both given full-season orders (which expands their 13-episode order to a full 22 episodes) this afternoon.

In addition, ABC ordered five more episodes of cop drama Detroit 1-8-7 and added four episodes to the season of veteran Brothers & Sisters, bringing the total number of episodes of that show to 22. Not on the pick-up list was struggling legal drama The Whole Truth, which frankly has lasted longer than any of us thought it would. ABC previously canceled new series My Generation.

Alright, peanut gallery. Let's hear your thoughts on these decisions!
