Adam Carolla returns!

Adam Carolla, who came to fame on Comedy Central as 50 percent of the men on The Man Show, will return to that network with a new late-night talk show. Too Late with Adam Carolla will feature a monologue, live guest interviews, phone calls from viewers, and videos of man-on-the-street interviews. Now, Carolla will be Kimmel's rival in the late-night arena. In a statement, Carolla said, "It's a joyous reunion--like a battered wife moving back in with her alcoholic husband."

Of late, Carolla has been making frequent guest appearances on friend and fellow Man Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The show premieres August 8, following The Daily Show. No word on whether the trampoline-bouncing "Juggies" will make an appearance.

"The Man Show" was really great with Adam and Jimmy. I agree they should work together.

YES! Adam Carolla is one of the funniest men alive! Well, on the radio at least. Hopefully this show goes a little better than his couple of nights guest hosting for the Late Late Show with Kilborn...

I wish Adam and Jimmy would get together again on something. Together they were incredible. They were the guys I would have loved to be friends with.

Separated they are just okay, but as a team who compliment each and finish each other's sentences, they were awesome.

I'm guessing it'll be a half-hour, tv, seeing as it airs at 11:30, right after the Daily Show.

It should be interesting to see if Adam's show will look like the "same-old" talk show. Also, is the show an hour? Will it be taped on the same day of airing. Will it go up against Jimmy's show at midnight?
