Eva La Rue, best known for her Emmy-nominated role as Dr. Maria Santos on ABC's All My Children, has been cast on CBS's CSI: Miami. She will play Natalia Boa Vista, a crime-lab specialist who focuses on unsolved cases.
In addition to her AMC duties, La Rue cohosts the Style network's A Modern Girl's Guide to Life. The series delivers a "weekly treasure trove of practical advice" for busy modern women. La Rue has also worked on the showbiz-news show Extra, guest-starred on George Lopez, and held recurring roles on Third Watch and Soul Food. She is also an accomplished singer, and she earned one of her two Daytime Emmy nominations for best original song on All My Children last year.
La Rue comes to CSI: Miami--a spin-off of the hit show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation--as it enters its fourth season. Her character will join a team of investigators as they explore Miami's seedy underworld and search for clues to the city's frequent brutal killings. The show airs Mondays at 10pm, but a fall season premiere date has not yet been announced.
