How confident are the stars of Lipstick Jungle that their show will be picked up for a second season? Brooke Shields constantly has a positive outlook, but the other two--Lindsay Price and Kim Raver--clearly have different ideas and already have back-up gigs lined up.
Less than a week after Price contingently signed on to star in Eastwick, Raver has also found a new job. The blonde is eyeing the lead in ABC's Inside the Box as a news reporter that covers the beat of the nation's capital at a major news network. However, both actresses have clauses in their deals that state they will return to Lipstick Jungle should it be renewed… but don't hold your breath.
Alyssa Milano is back on the path to starring in a new show after her last project--Single With Parents--fizzled out. Milano, famous for breaking into television with Who's the Boss? as a wee lass, will co-star with Eric Christian Olsen in an untitled ABC comedy. She'll play the new love of Olsen's character, who finds himself between his old pal and potential new life with Milano's character.
Over on the CW, two actors with a sterling pedigree have joined shows. Katie Cassidy, daughter of David Cassidy, will join the network's Melrose Place revamp. Cassidy was recently seen in Supernatural's third season as Ruby, and is cast in the upcoming CBS thriller Harper's Island.
Finally, the grandson of the coolest mother***er to walk the planet will star in Vampire Diaries. Steven McQueen, whose granddad Steve redefined badass in Bullitt and The Great Escape, will play the brother of a woman who is the object of two vampire siblings' affections. Steve McQueen!
